These sample videos are various compression and video formats to test the preformance of the 0Catch host. If you have trouble playing these videos online, then download or save the files to your computer. After downloading play the video from by opening that file. It should be played using the latest version of Microsoft Media Player 7.1.
The Movie Red Jacket Trail is a video overview of biking the Red Jacket Trail from Mankato to Rapidan. The trail is 5 miles from North to South trailhead. Trail access is found between the YMCA and Mankato West High School. Follow the paved trail to North trailhead. The South trailhead ends in Rapidan. A scenic stop at the Red Jacket Trestle bridge and county park below highlights this trail ride. The shaded and open trail offers may scenic panorams. A tunnel and 3 other bridge crossings through the tree-lined cooridor accent this easy to moderate bike ride.
Rapidan has a resturant and two pop machines, no drinking water or public restrooms. Bike through Rapidan to take the 2-mile highway bike to the scenic Blue Earth River Dam. The dam is home to Rapidan Dam County Park. The Park has a drinking fountain. The Dam Store and pop machine are across the parking lot. A fee-based county campground is below the dam along the Blue Earth River behind the store.
The movie is 4 minutes long. Was recorded by JVC DV and captured by 1394 Firewire into Adobe Premier 6.0. A 12fps MPEG2 compressed final mix was encoded into MWV and ASF streaming video formats for web distribution.
